The Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2 is built upon its acclaimed predecessor and features a load of brand new functionalities that offer more immersive feedback with more in-depth control over your tracks. This smart keyboard features a professional-grade Fatar keybed that is equipped with 88 fully weighted, hammer-action keys and aftertouch which offers the most natural playing feel possible. Ergonomic pitch and modulation wheels allow you to pitch bend and dial in modulation such as filter sweeps, vibrato, and delay timings.

The keybed is equipped with an RGB LED Light Guide, this guide allows you to visualise the scale or key you're working in so you will never hit a wrong note. The smart play feature allows you to choose from over 100 scales which can be mapped only to the white keys to ensure when you're producing or performing live you will never go out of key. Also, using the smart play feature you can play chord progressions and arpeggios using a single key, an excellent feature for beginners and aspiring producers.

Above the keybed sits eight touch-sensitive rotary controls that let you control your volume levels within your DAW as well as alter parameters within any Komplete instrument or effect plus hundreds of Native Kontrol Standard plug-ins. The two high-resolution full-colour displays let you browse your sample and preset libraries as well as tweak your mixdowns and plug-in parameters so you can be sure you’re always getting the sound you need. A 4-directional push encoder lets you navigate your way around your sample libraries as well as your DAW so you can instantly get to wherever you need to be.

A transport section gives you direct access to one of your DAWs most important functions and includes controls for play, record, stop, loop, a metronome, and tap tempo giving you intuitive control over Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Garageband, Cubase, and Nuendo while deep integration with Maschine software gives you clinical control when paired with a Maschine MK3. The rear of the Komplete S88 is fitted with two pedal inputs as well as a MIDI in/out port and a power supply input.
