This mixer combines a built-like-a-tank construction with an array of performance features such as a built-in InnoFader, eight performance pads with multiple modes, instant loop encoders, and six software effects triggered by toggle paddles. The Scratch is set to dominate the scratch mixer category establishing a new standard or mixers at an affordable price point.
The six effects give you direct access to the software effects deliver rapid access to a comprehensive array of effects with timing and intensity controls. The effects are triggered by a pair of intuitive performance-based toggle paddles that are usually only found on mixers at premium price points. An integrated high-quality InnoFader crossfader is designed especially for scratch DJs and offers buttery smooth action with bullet-proof reliability making it perfect for even the heaviest handed scratch DJs with the hottest non-stop action.
Four performance pads on each channel allow you to trigger hot cues, slip rolls for creative build-ups and quick beat stabs, and triggers samples allowing you to creatively mash up your tracks on-the-fly. A looping encoder for each channel lets you set and apply loops with ease while a dedicated bi-polar filter on each channel enables you to perform filter sweeps and are not software dependent so you can use the filters with analogue turntables, fantastic versatility.
On the rear of the Scratch, you’ll find dual XLR master outputs, one left and one right, for connecting to PA systems while a separate RCA zone output allows you to send the master output to a separate room. An RCA booth output will enable you to monitor your mix in the booth while a combo XLR/¼-inch TRS Jack microphone input allows you to mix alongside an MC and do voiceovers. Both channel inputs come with RCA connections which can be set to line or phono and features a GND lift for your turntables.
