Standalone 4-deck playback for versatile DJ performances

The OPUS-QUAD is a portable, four-deck DJ System that allows DJs more freedom in their sets. This means that with just one unit, you may play four tracks at once on 4 different decks, cue up tracks in advance, or leave a deck free for adding requests into your set at the last minute. Also, you may give each deck its own colour, which will be reflected in the light emanating from the jog ring. This will help you easily identify which deck you're using.

Easy-to-use professional effects

The OPUS-QUAD's effects make it simple to give your music depth and suspense, elevating the musical experience and allowing you to express your individuality through Beat FX while you pump up the crowd. Beat FX parameters and the cut-off frequency of the filter are controlled by movement on the X and Y axis, respectively, so you can blend both effects with a single finger on the XY-Pad, making it easy to operate functions like FX Bank and channel select. Smooth Echo is a popular effect that allows you to effortlessly apply an echo to a sound by simply adjusting a fader or knob that you have previously programmed to do so. Sound Colour FX, available on each individual channel, expands your range of sonic options for impressing your listeners.

Support for multiple media sources to match different playing styles

How do you like your music? From USB flash drives or massive SSDs? By connecting your PC or Mac running DJ software? By connecting through Wi-Fi® to play tunes wirelessly from your smartphone using rekordbox*1, or by utilising rekordbox CloudDirectPlay? You may access many music libraries with a single OPUS-QUAD, and you can link a mobile device through Bluetooth®/MD wireless technology – ideal if you need to incorporate a request into your show immediately.

The device includes four USB inputs: 1 x USB Type-C connector for connecting the newest gadgets, a PC/Mac, or, in certain situations, a mobile device; 1 x USB Type-A (3.2) port on the back panel for fast communication with an SSD drive or comparable device; and 2 x regular USB Type-A connections on the top.

Rapid and accurate track search – even from the biggest collections

With the newly designed user interface including an electrostatic touch module, you can now locate your songs quicker and with greater accuracy than ever before. The 10.1-inch display allows you to rapidly navigate between playlists and search for songs, no matter how extensive your music library. Touch Preview allows you to listen to a snippet of a song as you browse. You may push, rotate, move left and right, and even use it like a joystick with the new Smart Rotary Selector. The selector is centred, while the other controls for searching, previewing, and loading tracks are nicely grouped around it.

Optimized deck configuration and new Smart Cue

A deck display and 8 Hot Cue buttons sit on top each full-size jog wheel, giving you full control of the music. This setup eliminates the need to move your eyes from track to track while you make adjustments or check the status of various functions. Also, remembered Hot Cues may now be used to instantly replace the current cue location thanks to Smart Cue. Hot Cues may now be used with a single tap, making them both easier and more convenient to employ.

Engineered to fulfil the demands of the increasingly diversified DJ environment, the OPUS-QUAD offers high-quality music that's pleasant to listen to for long periods of time. The unit's design avoids transmission and AD-DA conversion loss, and it has an ESS Technology high-quality 32-bit D/A converter. As a consequence, wherever you perform on the OPUS-QUAD, the entire space is gradually wrapped by a pleasant sound that enriches the spatial experience.

Zone output for playing different music in different spaces

You may play different music in different rooms using just one OPUS-QUAD thanks to the zone output, which can emit sound that is distinct from the master. Connecting a phone to the unit through Bluetooth, for example, allows you to play a playlist of background music softly in a bar area or second room where people are mingling while mixing songs from a USB device in the main room.

Plug-and-play support with rekordbox Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro*2 is bundled with the OPUS-QUAD.
